"I am a liaison for all Store Managers and an important connection between the head office and our stores in the Netherlands," Wesley de Jong, District Manager at WE Fashion, begins. "We have six districts: I myself am part of the Amsterdam region. In collaboration with the other managers, I ensure that our stores receive the right guidance and that communication flows within the organisation are as effective as possible.” It's 2013 when Wesley joins WE Fashion. "I once started as a Sales Assistant and entered my current position in July 2022. WE® offered me great opportunities and guided me consistently throughout these. "Since the start of my career, I've been able to develop both professionally and personally. I was given more responsibilities, got to know new people, changed teams, trained various individuals and also let them go," Wesley says. Not only has he experienced individual growth, he feels that the organisation has visibly innovated as well. "There's a lot of freedom for personal input and suggesting new ideas and improvements. Everyone is taken seriously here, which I think paints a great picture of the work culture." At WE Fashion, one believes in the power of cooperation. It's not without reason that the company's motto is 'Better Together'. And Wesley fully agrees with that. "You're not going to find these standards, values, cooperative atmosphere and way of interacting elsewhere. I try to convey the 'Better Together' culture to colleagues every day and make sure they know I'm on their side. After all, together you’ll achieve the best results."
"I have grown tremendously in the past few years,” Wesley says, reflecting on his career. "Step by step, I've worked towards a management position and find that I really enjoy meeting and connecting various types of people." He therefore plans to focus on enthusing his colleagues in the coming years and hopes to support them in their development. "WE® offers various training courses, which allow you to keep developing. During these sessions, you get to know yourself better and discover other people's qualities, a process that is very useful for me as a District Manager", Wesley says.

In all this communication and teamwork are key."
Shannon has completely settled in at WE®: “I’ve been promoted several times. I believe that anything is possible, as long as you are eager to learn.”
Patrick is a big believer in teamwork and very proud of his team: "I love working with them to develop an idea, starting with little more than a piece of paper and a pencil."
