Import & Export
Import & Export works hard to manage our information and commodity flows in terms of international transport and trade, with the aim of ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to the distribution centre. For instance, the department deals with import and export shipments and their correct and on-time administrative handling, but certifications and permits are also familiar territory. Which carrier is needed to receive our products on time and are the necessary documents arranged? They have just the right answers to these questions. In a motivated team of logistical professionals, a proactive approach is taken to work towards efficiency and innovation. Besides, through various data applications, they are always aware of the (current) international supply chain, which provides them and other departments with information on the overall flow of goods. After all, it is very complex. The best aspect of this flexible job according to our Import & Export employees? EDC
This department has several divisions, including Warehouse, Sorting, Pick to Order, Expedition and Returns. Together, they take care of the distribution of our collections to the stores and online partners, which of course cannot operate without supplies. The team also keeps the organisation running by ensuring that our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. Delivered goods are counted, checked, priced if necessary, then distributed and delivered. Finally, the team carries out quality control upon receiving any return orders. In this process, accuracy, speed, commitment, responsibility and cooperation are key.
