System administrator

Our IT department manages all the systems used at our offices, distribution centre and in all stores. Without properly functioning IT systems, our customers can't pay, our stock system doesn't work and we don't have a working webshop. In short, within WE®, IT has a huge impact. In the role of System Administrator, you are responsible for the optimal management and functioning of our Microsoft Windows-based systems. Day-to-day management consists of independently following up incident reports (second- and/or third-line) and, if necessary, directing suppliers on problem solutions. In addition, you play an important role in the realisation of IT and business projects, such as the opening of stores, expansion of online channels and wider deployment of cloud services. Naturally, you will keep our systems and networks in top shape internationally, with a focus on optimisation and security.

What we expect from you?

• A completed degree in IT or, for example, Business Administration with at least 5 years' work experience in a similar role, preferably in a Retail environment;
• A broad general knowledge of Microsoft products, such as Windows Server, Windows Client, AD/Entra ID, Azure, Exchange, Office 365, SQL;
• Tools such as Citrix, VMWare, WSUS and Endpoint Management are not unknown to you;
• Do you also have knowledge of WiFi, VLANs, Security, Switching and Routing? Then that would be a nice bonus!
• A strong degree of independence is a plus, as you have an important role in executing projects with both colleagues and external partners;
• And finally, you move easily within a rapidly changing environment and grasp new opportunities and innovations with both hands!
