Social Compliance Coordinator

As Social Compliance Coordinator, you will be part of the CSR team and monitor and guarantee good working conditions in the production chain. You do this by thoroughly checking independent audits, which give you a clear picture of the working conditions. Based on the audits and input from stakeholders, you make analyses and work on improvement plans. You also work closely with suppliers and our Buying team to ensure responsible purchasing practices. You also have contact with external stakeholders and work on improvement projects at production sites. You know how to translate relevant laws and regulations into clear processes and procedures, so that our organization always complies with current requirements. You also work together with the CSR team towards the objectives and contribute to our CSRD commitments.

What we expect from you?

  • You have at least a completed Bachelor's degree preferably in Sustainability, Social Policy or Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
  • You have approximately 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
  • You have knowledge of the broad CSR agenda, (upcoming) relevant laws and regulations and social standards in manufacturing countries, especially in Asia and Turkey.
  • You have a proactive mindset, are creative, innovative, have the will to continuously work on improvements and possess analytical skills.
  • Finally, you are communicatively strong and fluent in Dutch and English. You regularly need to substantiate your views or convince others of the right (sustainable) direction.
