Intern Technical Product Development

Together with the garment technician our quality requirements and have a key position between our Buying & Design department, where you are also co-responsible for the technical translation of ideas from these departments. You will also contribute to the maintenance and further development of the basic patterns, provide technical advice on material use and seam processing, monitor the consistent fit of our garments using patterns, grading and size specs, and prepare fit sessions with our fitting models. You will do this together with your Buying and Design team, creating stylish WE® collections with passion, creativity and focus on our customers. Fashion that makes our customers feel stylish, confident and easy to connect with the people around them. In other words; WE design to connect! You will also contribute to the following activities:

• You will participate in the technical development process and support our garment technician.
• You have a strong passion for the technical side of product development; this means that you want to learn everything there is to know about patterns, fits and materials.
• You attend fitting sessions and process comments.
• You prepare fitting sessions.
• You support us with administrative tasks.
• You have strong communication skills in your contact with others.

What we expect of you?

• You are doing a mbo/hbo degree in fashion or textile engineering, or something similar where you gain pattern knowledge;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both orally and in writing;
• You are eager to learn and bring a healthy dose of curiosity with you!
• You give constructive feedback and are critical of our current working methods; If you think something can be improved, we are always open to that!
• You are available from februari 2025 for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 5 months.
