Financial Reporting Analist

Our Business Strategy & Insights (BS&I) department is the data-driven heart of WE, consisting of a team of dedicated analysts and data professionals. Whether you work in Business Controlling, Merchandising, or E-commerce, you’ll experience the dynamic retail environment and the crucial role of data every day. Within a European scope, you analyze complex databases and transform data into accessible, actionable reports and dashboards. You actively participate in periodic closings, financial reporting, and analyses, and contribute to the planning, budgeting, and long-term planning cycles.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you are the backbone of our commercial and financial reports. You work closely with analysts and business controllers, supporting their information needs and reporting. You also conduct ad hoc analyses and play a role in projects such as the implementation of a new BI environment. Additionally, you continuously seek improvements in procedures and internal controls.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from BS&I and Finance (CFO, Business Controlling, and Accounting) and report to the Head of Business Strategy & Insights. Thanks to your in-depth analyses, financial insights, and business advice, you will contribute daily to the strategic direction and commercial success of WE Fashion.

What do we expect from you?

• A completed HBO/WO degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a Business Intelligence, Business Control, or Financial Control environment.
• Experience in extracting information from complex databases for various business functions within a commercial and dynamic environment. Affinity with IT is a plus.
• And finally, Excel holds no secrets for you. Experience with Oracle ERP or Oracle Retail Insights is a plus.
