BI & Reporting Specialist

Our Business Strategy & Insights (BS&I) department is the data-driven heart of WE, with a team of passionate analysts and data professionals. Whether you work with colleagues from Business Controlling, Merchandising or E-commerce, for example, you will feel the dynamics of retail and the crucial role of data on a daily basis.  You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to support Business Stakeholders, such as Controllers, Merchandisers and other internal departments. In addition, you generate daily, weekly and periodic reports and KPI analyses in a new BI environment. You also present complex data in an accessible and user-friendly format for a wide range of internal stakeholders.

As a BI & Reporting Specialist, you will also be responsible for optimizing reporting processes to improve the quality of our information products. In addition, you will help support the implementation of a completely new BI environment in our Horizon Program and contribute to improvement initiatives within the Business Strategy & Insights department and beyond. Finally, you will perform ad-hoc analyses and be involved in projects where (data) expertise is required.

In this role, you will work closely with Business Strategy & Insights analysts and other departments to effectively address information needs and reporting. You will also be responsible for training and coaching other BI users in their use of the BI tooling.

What we expect from you?

• You have a completed HBO/WO degree in a financial or business discipline, such as Business Economics or Business Administration.
• You have at least 3-5 years of experience in analytical or Business Intelligence role, preferably within a Retail organization.
• You have experience working with complex data, dashboarding and reporting and presenting results to various stakeholders.
• A proven track record with BI tooling; such as PowerBI or Tableau. Experience with Oracle is a plus.
• And finally, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate data to business stakeholders.
