Do you want to be involved in collection development, help determine the quality of our items and contribute to our sustainability strategy? Then you are the perfect fit for the Buying and Sustainability teams. Together with the Designers and Technicians, the department is responsible for the men’s, women's and kids' collections that make WE® so successful. All collections are developed internally, from the first pencil sketch to the final product. Therefore, all hands are joined daily to achieve the best results.

Do you want to be involved in collection development, help determine the quality of our items and contribute to our sustainability strategy? Then you are the perfect fit for the Buying and Sustainability teams. Together with the Designers and Technicians, the department is responsible for the men’s, women's and kids' collections that make WE® so successful. All collections are developed internally, from the first pencil sketch to the final product. Therefore, all hands are joined daily to achieve the best results.
SET THE NEXT TREND
As part of the versatile Buying and Sustainability teams, you will contribute to the sustainability of the fashion industry, work far ahead and will be in regular contact with internal and external parties. These are not only dozens of suppliers worldwide - so you'll be dealing with different cultures - but also many internal departments, such as Design, Merchandising, E-Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Import & Export, Customer Service, our European Distribution Centre and the stores. Within WE®, we combine buying and product development. This means that you are both creative and commercial: you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the collections and have various responsibilities. In addition, you are given full freedom to help think about how to make the organisation as sustainable as possible.
Buying
The
Buyers determine how collections can be ideally manufactured: at the best
price, with the right suppliers and with an appropriate planning. They also
transform our designers' sketches into physical products. To guide them in the
best possible way, the team offers advice on colour, design and materials. On
top of that, these professionals see to it that our stocks are delivered on
time, which can be quite challenging at times. Does something have to be
re-ordered or do problems arise? The Buyers - in collaboration with
Merchandising - go the extra mile to take care of this. Finally, this team also
has several clothing technicians. They are responsible for fits, materials and the
construction of our collections. So, for the technical translation of creative
ideas, this is the place to be.

Sustainability
experts work according to the four pillars from our sustainability mission:
improving the supply chain, making better products, optimising our way of
working and giving back to society. In addition, they define the sustainability
strategy within WE Fashion and research and implement all positive
possibilities regarding sustainability. They also monitor the quality
requirements and legal regulations of our collections. Consider, for example,
our Fundamentals collection with a 365-day return policy. To ensure all this,
close cooperation is maintained with Buying and external parties, all products
are tested, there are frequent inspections and safety regulations are kept
up-to-date.
